Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai gave a big gift on the occasion of Teeja, 70 lakh women got the seventh installment of Mahtari Vandan Yojana
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has brought smile to the faces of 70 lakh women in the state by transferring Rs 1000 to their accounts as part of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. The women expressed their gratitude towards Vishnu Bhaiya during the Teeja-Pora Mahtari Vandan Tihar event at the Chief Minister’s residence. This initiative aims to empower women by improving their health nutrition and economic self-reliance while also addressing issues of discrimination and inequality in society. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched the Mahtari Vandan Yojana on 10th March 2024 providing financial assistance to married widowed abandoned and divorced women above 21 years of age. The presence of various dignitaries at the event including Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw and Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade highlights the importance of this scheme in promoting women’s welfare and empowerment.
