Due to the heavy rainfall recently Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai took quick action to prevent potential flooding in villages near the Hirakud Dam. He spoke with Odisha’s Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi late at night asking for water release from the dam to avoid a disaster. Odisha’s Chief Minister responded promptly ordering the release of water to protect the villagers. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai thanked Odisha’s Chief Minister for his timely help.
