Inauguration of development works worth Rs 204.84 crore in Nava Raipur

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah recently kicked off the “People for Peepal” campaign at the new assembly complex in Nava Raipur. The campaign aims to plant over one lakh large trees of local species with a special focus on the Peepal tree which holds immense cultural significance in India. The launch event also saw the inauguration of various projects under the Smart City Scheme including smart road parking facilities a railway station and a smart school.

The Peepal tree known for its longevity and its ability to produce life-giving oxygen will play a key role in the city as a symbol of its heritage and importance. By planting these trees the campaign hopes to promote environmental sustainability and enhance the overall well-being of the residents of Nava Raipur Atal Nagar.
