Madhya Pradesh is the first state to start Cyber Tehsil system

In the last 6 months, mutation orders have been sent to more than one lakh farmers through Cyber Tehsil. Mutation orders were sent by e-mail and WhatsApp. Mutation orders from cyber tehsil were issued in less than 20 days, whereas mutations from traditional tehsil took more than 70 days. The Cyber Tehsil system has brought positive changes in the interest of farmers. It may be noted that Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to have implemented the Cyber Tehsil system.

Chief Revenue Commissioner Smt. Anubha Srivastava said that Cyber Tehsil was started on 29 February 2024. Initially, arrangements were made for the mutation from Cyber Tehsil based on the registry of purchase and sale of the entire Khasra. After the success of Cyber Tehsil 1.0, Cyber Tehsil 2.0 was started in August. With its implementation, along with the entire Khasra, the arrangement for the purchase and sale of parts of Khasra and transfer of names has also started being done through Cyber Tehsil.

Staff increased in cyber tehsil

For the smooth operation of the Cyber Tehsil System, the number of posts of Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar has been increased from 11 to 25. The Cyber Tehsil system, which is a completely paperless, faceless online system is effective in all 55 districts. In this system, the applicant does not have to apply for mutation nor does he have to visit the tehsil office. The applicant does not even have to wait.

Other states are also coming to study the system

The process of mutation in Cyber Tehsil starts with the sale deed. Immediately after registration, the registry data is transferred to the revenue portal. Once the buyers-sellers are informed through SMS, the concerned parties are also informed through SMS. The Patwari report is also available online. If the case is fit, the mutation order is passed. Immediately after the order is passed, the land records are updated and the mutation order is sent to the concerned via e-mail or WhatsApp. This entire process takes place in about 20 days. Other states are also studying the innovation of the Cyber Tehsil system of Revenue e-Court, which was started in Madhya Pradesh for the first time in the country. The Cyber Tehsil system is being operated successfully in all the districts of the state.
