MyBharat “Nasha Mukta Yuva” Event at MATS University

MATS University successfully organized the MyBharat “Nasha Mukta Yuva” awareness programme with the objective of inspiring young minds to lead a healthy, disciplined, and drug-free life. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of students, faculty members, and university officials.
The programme commenced with the auspicious Saraswati Vandana, creating a dignified and inspiring atmosphere for the event.
The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Chancellor, Shri Gajraj Pagariya, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Shri Priyesh Pagariya, Director General, Shri Priyesh Pagariya, and Registrar, Shri Gokulananda Panda. The dignitaries addressed the students and emphasized the importance of character building, responsible citizenship, and the role of youth in shaping the future of the nation. They encouraged students to remain committed to positive values and contribute meaningfully to society.
A major highlight of the programme was the address of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi under the MyBharat Nasha Mukta Yuva campaign. In his inspiring message to the youth of the nation, the Prime Minister motivated students to stay away from drugs, alcohol, and all other harmful substances and negative activities. He emphasized that the youth are the greatest strength of the country and urged them to adopt a healthy lifestyle, remain focused on their goals, and actively participate in nation-building.
The programme had a significant impact on the participants, creating awareness about the harmful consequences of substance abuse while encouraging students to become ambassadors of a drug-free society. The event reinforced the message that a healthy and responsible youth population is essential for the progress and development of the nation.
The MATS University team actively participated in the MyBharat Nasha Mukta Yuva event under the supervision of Dr. Umesh Gupta, Professor and Head, Department of Commerce and Management, along with enthusiastic student volunteers. Their collective efforts contributed to the successful organization of the programme and strengthened the university’s commitment to promoting social awareness and youth empowerment.
The event concluded with a renewed pledge by the students to support the vision of a Drug-Free India (Nasha Mukta Bharat) and to spread awareness within their communities about the importance of leading a healthy, addiction-free life.
