MATS Law School, MATS University, successfully organized the “Laughter Lounge: Mimicry and Stand-Up Comedy Competition,” a vibrant cultural event aimed at promoting mental well-being, stress relief, and emotional wellness among students and faculty members. In today’s demanding academic environment, the programme served as a refreshing initiative to encourage students to unwind, express themselves creatively, and strengthen interpersonal bonds through the universal language of laughter.

  • First Position – Sidak Lamba
  • Second Position – Apurv Vizureja (Department of Forensic Science)
  • Third Position (Joint) – Wilsimon Carew, Florence Mahlatini, and Amar Kumar
  • The winners were felicitated with Certificates of Merit in recognition of their outstanding performances.

The programme was successfully organized under the guidance of the Head of the Department, Dr. Pyali Chatterjee, whose constant encouragement and vision continue to promote holistic student development through academic and co-curricular excellence. The event was coordinated by Ms. Aishwarya RL Soni, Assistant Professor, and Dr. Bijaya Kumar Behera, Assistant Professor, whose dedicated planning, coordination, and commitment ensured the smooth execution and grand success of the programme.
