On the death anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the development works costing more than 60 crore rupees and performed Bhumi Poojan in Indore. He inaugurated ‘Atal Path’, a newly constructed road at a cost of more than 16 crore rupees connecting Annapurna Road to Ring Road. Along with this, he also performed Bhoomi Poojan for other important development works including link road from Tigaria Badshah Main Road to Kushwaha Nagar to Ujjain Naka-Banganga. On this occasion Chief Minister Dr. Yadav himself. Tribute to Shri Atal Ji by remembering his contribution to nation building and his ideals.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Indore is the capital of cleanliness, service and good governance. A river of new technology and innovation is flowing from Indore to Madhya Pradesh. He said that these works will not bring additional financial burden on the government, but such innovations are being promoted through private participation with government participation.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav paid tribute to former Prime Minister late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and said that Atal ji had a deep connection with Indore. He was an excellent statesman, writer, poet and skilled orator along with establishing the dignity of democracy. He exemplified the role of both the ruling party and the opposition with dignity. Today’s politicians should learn from their lives how a leader’s role, conduct and behavior should be.
- Gift of development works in the name of Atal G
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that he is very happy to inaugurate Atal Path in the name of Atal Ji. The development work being done in Indore with will and public participation is giving a new direction to the city. He mentioned the inauguration and Bhumi Poojan of seven different development works at a cost of around Rs 60 crore including the statue of Atal Ji and said that this is an important step in the direction of good governance and development. At a cost of about 18 crores, the road from Tigaria Badshah main road to Kushwaha Nagar to Ujjain Naka will also prove to be very useful during Simhastha.
The Chief Minister said that in view of Simhastha, one of the biggest religious events in the world to be held in Indore and Ujjain, strengthening of all major roads is necessary. In the same order, Bhoomi Pujan has also been done for service road from Footy Kothi intersection to Sant Shree Sewalal Bridge at a cost of about Rs.7 crores.
- The government is making Atal Ji’s dreams come true
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Atal ji laid a strong foundation during his rule to make India strong and independent. Many schemes like Nuclear Empowered India, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Golden Quadrilateral are due to his visionary leadership. He had also dreamed of connecting rivers, which is now being taken forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He said that through Ken-Betwa and Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal river linking projects, a large area of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan will be benefited. He said that Narmada water has changed the picture of Malwa-Nimad and Indore region. Narmada Jal Aane Utsav was celebrated in Indore in the presence of Atal Ji. Today, the water of Narmada has become the basis for the development of the region for drinking water, irrigation and industrial activities.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Indore is growing rapidly as a metropolis. Along with the Ujjain-Indore metropolitan area, the Bhopal metropolitan area and now Jabalpur and Gwalior are also being pushed forward in the direction of modern development. Indore’s international airport status has strengthened global connectivity. Other international connectivity will also increase in the coming time with regular flights to Abu Dhabi.
Projects like strengthening of Indore-Ujjain route, Indore-Manmar rail project and direct rail connectivity of Delhi route to Indore will give new impetus to the economic activities of the city in the coming time. Various projects including the Indore-Pithampur Economic Corridor will create new opportunities for employment and investment.
- Helicopter service for Omkareshwar-Mahakal Darshan
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that starting helicopter service from Indore to visit Omkareshwar and Mahakaleshwar is a big achievement in the field of religious tourism. Local transport and other necessary facilities are also being provided to the devotees along with darshan of both Jyotirlingas by helicopter. It is becoming the new identity of Malwa’s hospitality and tourism development. He said that development work worth around Rs 2700 crore is being done in Omkareshwar. Development of infrastructure along with religious tourism will provide new economic prospects to Indore and surrounding areas.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav mentioned the activities being done under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on the occasion of 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram and said that Vande Mataram is a symbol of India’s freedom struggle and patriotism. Thousands of revolutionaries sacrificed their lives chanting Vande Mataram. He said that it is the responsibility of every citizen to respect and maintain the dignity of the national anthem and anthem.

- Atal Path is full of features and features
The inauguration of ‘Atal Path’ in Indore will provide better transportation facilities to the citizens of Sudama Nagar, Vishwakarma Nagar, Annapurna Road and surrounding areas in western Indore. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav during the program laid the foundation stone of the Link Road from Tigaria Badshah Main Road to Kushwaha Nagar to Ujjain Naka-Banganga. This 1.38 km long and 18 meter wide road, which will be built at a cost of around Rs 18.09 crore, will further strengthen the connectivity of the area.
- A smooth road will be made from Super Corridor to Ujjain Road
The construction of the link road will provide a new traffic route directly to Ujjain Road and Banganga through Super Corridor, Palakhedi, Bada Bangarda. Sewer chamber, sewer and water line, footpath and electric line shifting will also be done along with cement concrete construction on the road.

The construction of the new route will provide easy movement facility to devotees coming and going to Ujjain during Simhastha and will reduce the traffic pressure on the surrounding major roads.
