Members of 5 Naxal-affected families get government service

  • Naxal rehabilitation policy brought stability in life, Collector Mrs. Tanuja Salam handed over appointment letters,
  • paving the way for self-reliance and a better future with financial support.

The positive impact of the efforts being made by the Chhattisgarh government towards rehabilitation of families affected by Naxal violence and connecting them with the mainstream of the society is now visible on the ground. Under the Naxal rehabilitation policy operated under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, eligible members of five Naxal affected families of Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadh Chowki district have been provided appointment in government service. During a meeting held on Wednesday in the district office, Collector of Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadh Chowki district Smt. Tanuja Salam handed over appointment letters to the newly appointed employees and wished them a bright future.

  • These five members of Naxal-affected families , found in the ashrams and hostels of the Tribal Development Department,

have been appointed as peons in the hostels and ashrams run by the Tribal Development Department. Those receiving appointment letters include Mr. Ravi Dugga, Mr. Ajay Kumar Salame, Mr. Dilsai Koreti, Ms. Sameela Poodo, and Ms. Payal Ishwar Poodo. By getting the opportunity of government service, these families will get regular employment and financial stability, and they will be able to better meet the needs of their families.

  • The rehabilitation policy is providing new support to the affected families.

The objective of the Naxal Rehabilitation Policy is to provide rehabilitation, security and stability to the families affected by Naxal violence and to connect them with the mainstream of development. In this sequence, giving the opportunity of government service to the members of eligible families is an important step towards their social and economic rehabilitation. By getting government jobs, the confidence of the affected families regarding the future has increased. This initiative is making them financially strong and is providing them an opportunity to move forward towards a self-reliant life.

Collector Mrs. Salam, while congratulating the newly appointed employees, said that government service is not only a means of getting employment, but also an opportunity to fulfill one’s responsibility towards the society and the government. She called upon the newly appointed employees to discharge their duties with full devotion, honesty and responsibility. She said that the employees should work with discipline and dedication at their workplace and play their role in providing better services to the common citizens as per the intention of the government. She expressed confidence that through government service, the newly appointed employees will not only strengthen the economic condition of their families but will also lay the foundation for a better future for the coming generations.
