  • Public Service Programs to be Held Across the State

The ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ is a month-long, nationwide campaign organized to mark the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s public life. Its objective is to take Shri Modi’s initiatives related to service and development to the people while expanding public service programs. These programs include blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, competitions in schools, and more.

The campaign aims to express gratitude for public service, take a collective pledge for a ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ (Developed India 2047), disseminate information about central and state government welfare schemes to every citizen, and ensure widespread public participation involving every family.

The ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ is a nationwide campaign running from September 17 to October 17, 2026, in honor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25-year tenure of continuous public service and nation-building (as Chief Minister and Prime Minister). Citizens will be engaged in 25 types of service activities, such as blood donation, tree plantation, cleanliness drives, health check-ups, water conservation, and digital literacy. Citizens are urged to contribute at least 25 minutes of voluntary labor (Shramdaan); uploading photos or videos of this contribution to the ‘My Bharat’ portal will earn them a digital certificate.

As a special event, programs titled ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ (Lamp of Blessings) and ‘Namo Seva Gatha’ (Namo’s Saga of Service) will be organized on September 17, 2026. These will take place in auditoriums at divisional headquarters—Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur, Ambikapur (Surguja), and Jagdalpur (Bastar)—organized by the Department of Culture in coordination with the district administration. Under ‘Namo Seva Gatha,’ cultural events such as street plays and dance dramas will be performed by local artists from the districts. Innovative activities like the ‘Seva Setu Abhiyan’ (multi-purpose camps in development blocks) and the ‘Seva First Innovation Challenge’ will also be conducted.

These activities will be executed through the collaborative efforts of government departments, citizens, and social organizations. These programs will actively involve women of all age groups, social workers, eminent personalities, public representatives, voluntary organizations, educational institutions, self-help groups, youth, and the general public.
