 A journey of faith from Surguja to Ayodhya, 850 devotees leave for the darshan of Ram Lalla.

  • Bharat Gaurav train started its journey from Ambikapur to Kashi-Ayodhya, Tourism and Culture Minister Shri Rajesh Agarwal flagged off the train.
  • So far, more than 52 thousand pilgrims have taken advantage of the Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana.

Under the Shri Ramlala Teerth Darshan (Ayodhya Dham) scheme, 850 devotees from Surguja division left for Shri Kashi and Shri Ayodhya Dham today by Bharat Gaurav train. The special train, which left from Ambikapur railway station at 2:30 pm, was flagged off by Tourism and Culture Minister Shri Rajesh Agrawal, Mayor Smt. Manjusha Bhagat, Municipal Corporation Chairman Shri Harminder Singh Tinni and local public representatives. Officers and employees of the district administration, IRCTC and Chhattisgarh Tourism Board were present on this occasion.

          During the pilgrimage, devotees will have the opportunity to visit Baba Vishwanath in Kashi and Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. Visiting both major religious sites will provide pilgrims with a spiritual experience and an opportunity to connect with the country’s rich religious and cultural heritage.

          Tourism and Culture Minister Shri Rajesh Agrawal said that it is a matter of great pleasure that 850 devotees from Surguja division are leaving for Shri Kashi and Shri Ayodhya Dham to mark the completion of 25 years of service and dedication of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Devotees will gain spiritual experience by visiting Baba Vishwanath and Shri Ram Lalla. This visit to Ayodhya Dham holds special emotional significance for the devotees due to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s public participation in the construction process of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. The state government is striving to provide maximum opportunities for the people of the state to connect with their religious, spiritual and cultural heritage.

  • Devotion and enthusiasm seen at Ambikapur railway station

          The train’s departure was marked by exceptional enthusiasm among the devotees at Ambikapur Railway Station. Family members and acquaintances also arrived at the station to bid farewell. The devotees were filled with excitement and joy at the prospect of visiting Kashi and Ayodhya. As the train was flagged off, an atmosphere of faith and joy prevailed within the station premises.

  • Food, accommodation and medical facilities through IRCTC

          IRCTC has made all necessary arrangements for a comfortable and organized journey for pilgrims. Food, accommodation, and medical facilities are being provided to pilgrims during the journey. IRCTC and the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board are working in coordination to manage the journey, ensuring that pilgrims receive the necessary amenities smoothly during their journey.

  • Special feeling of seeing Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya

           For devotees from the Surguja division, this pilgrimage to Ayodhya holds special religious and emotional significance. Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya on August 5, 2020. The opportunity to visit the grand temple of Shri Ram Lalla is proving to be a significant faith-related experience for devotees. By visiting Baba Vishwanath in Kashi and Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, devotees will connect directly with the spiritual and cultural traditions of the country.

  • Over 52,000 pilgrims were taken on pilgrimage by 62 trains.

          Through the Shri Ram Lalla Tirtha Darshan Yojana, citizens of the state are continuously getting the opportunity to visit Ayodhya Dham. So far, more than 52,000 pilgrims have taken advantage of this scheme through 62 trains to visit Shri Ram Lalla. This journey, which started from Ambikapur, is continuing this trend and providing 850 devotees from the Surguja division the opportunity to visit Shri Kashi and Shri Ayodhya Dham.

  • Pilgrims expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai

         A devotee embarking on the pilgrimage said, “Today we are fortunate to have the darshan of Baba Vishwanath and Shri Ram Lalla. This is a moment of immense joy and emotion for us.” He added that thanks to the efforts of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the grand temple of Shri Ram Lalla has come to life in Ayodhya, and today we are able to visit that holy shrine and have darshan of Ram Lalla. For this, we express our heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. We also thank Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai and the state government for providing the state’s devotees with the opportunity to visit the pilgrimage site. Our joy is further enhanced by the travel arrangements, including food, accommodation, and medical facilities, provided through the Bharat Gaurav train.

         Another devotee said that Kashi and Ayodhya are not just pilgrimage sites for us, but centers of our deep faith and devotion. Our long-cherished desire to visit the grand temple of Shri Ram Lalla is going to be fulfilled today. Due to the efforts of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, darshan of the grand temple of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya has become possible today, and we thank him for this. He said that we also express our gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, under whose leadership the devotees of the state are getting the opportunity to visit Shri Ram Lalla and Baba Vishwanath. This journey with family and other devotees will be included in the unforgettable journeys of our lives.

          This pilgrimage, which began in Surguja, offers an opportunity to connect with religious faith, spiritual experiences, and cultural heritage. The Bharat Gaurav train will return on September 19th.
