Under the “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan,” Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district witnessed a remarkable display of public service and compassion. Large voluntary blood donation camps were organized at the District Hospital, Sarangarh, and all community health centers across the district. Public representatives, administrative officials, social organizations, and local citizens participated with unprecedented enthusiasm. By voluntarily donating blood, blood donors not only conveyed the message of service to humanity but also ensured their significant role in saving the lives of needy patients.
This prestigious camp, held at the District Hospital, Sarangarh, was inaugurated in the presence of District Panchayat Chairman Sanjay Bhushan Pandey, the Collector, District Panchayat CEO, Chief Medical and Health Officer, and Civil Surgeon.
The officials and public representatives present on the occasion encouraged the blood donors and inspired the general public to participate in this noble act of life-saving. Along with the district headquarters, all community health centers across the district witnessed tremendous enthusiasm among youth and people from various social backgrounds, who enthusiastically donated blood.
During the camp, the health department team educated citizens about the health benefits of regular blood donation and its life-saving utility in emergency situations. Citizens were urged to contribute to the safety of patients by voluntarily donating blood from time to time. This widespread public participation across the district proved that collective efforts and a spirit of service can transform lives, strengthening the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’s core objective of “service, compassion, and public participation.”
