Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao attended the closing ceremony of the Vidya Bharati Madhya Kshetra Regional Kabaddi Sports Competition-2026 held at Saraswati Shishu Mandir Higher Secondary School in Champa today. He encouraged the players participating in the competition and extended his congratulations and best wishes. The winning team was honored with a memento, a certificate, and a medal at the closing ceremony. MP Smt. Kamlesh Jangde also attended the closing ceremony.Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao said at the program that sports are essential for good health, because a healthy mind resides in a healthy body. Students and youth should devote time to sports every day. Sweating on the field maintains energy in the body and enthusiasm in life. He said that Vidya Bharati is connecting the lives of students and youth with discipline and values, inspiring them to move forward towards their goals. He said that in sports, some win and some lose, but everyone learns. Sports provide us with good health, discipline, self-confidence, and energy, and inspire us to move forward towards our goals. A good player lives a disciplined life and remains full of energy.
Mr. Saw said that when a child is young and tries to walk, they fall many times, but each time they get up and try again. Eventually, that same child learns to walk and run. Similarly, instead of getting discouraged by repeated failures in life, one should learn from them and try again. Success can be achieved through efforts made with determination, dedication, and resolve. Only a person full of confidence and energy moves forward in life. Instead of getting discouraged by failure, one should learn from them and move forward with greater strength. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, continuous efforts are being made to promote sports and players in the country.
MP Mrs. Kamlesh Jangde said that Saraswati Shishu Mandir schools teach students discipline and etiquette, which play a vital role in their lives as good human beings. She added that Saraswati Shishu Mandir students are progressing in various fields, including academics. She congratulated and wished all the students and athletes.
