Santosh Sahni from Gangalur was deeply concerned about his one-and-a-quarter-year-old son Ayan’s congenital cleft lip condition. The Chirayu team identified Ayan’s condition during a health screening in the village. After completing the necessary tests and procedures, he was sent to Raipur for treatment. The family is now greatly relieved following Ayan’s successful treatment at Shri Medishine Hospital.
Two other children from remote areas of Bijapur district, suffering from similar conditions, also received treatment through the Chirayu scheme. Eight-year-old Anjali Hapka from Ishulnar and three-year-old Savita Tati from Todka were also affected by congenital cleft lip. The Chirayu team identified both girls and referred them to Raipur for specialized care, where they received free treatment under the scheme.
The Chirayu scheme identifies congenital conditions, diseases, nutritional deficiencies, and developmental issues in children and provides them with necessary treatment. The treatment of Ayan, Anjali, and Savita has alleviated their families’ anxieties regarding the children’s futures.

Sukhma Hapka, a resident of Ishulnar and father of Anjali, had been worried about his daughter’s medical treatment. The Chirayu team identified Anjali and arranged for her surgery under the supervision of specialist doctors in Raipur. Following the treatment, the family is hopeful about her improved health. Similarly, the treatment of his daughter comes as a great relief to Biju Tati, a resident of Todka and father of Savita. The processes for identifying Savita and arranging her treatment were completed through the Chirayu scheme; she underwent successful treatment at Shri Medishine Hospital in Raipur. The family has expressed happiness over the assistance their daughter received.
