Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the Chhattisgarh government is continuously working to provide safe, well-equipped, and affordable housing to every needy family in the state. As part of this effort, Chief Minister Sai’s home district, Jashpur, has received two significant gifts in the realm of housing development. Two modern residential colonies will be developed by the Chhattisgarh Housing Board and Infrastructure Development Board under the Atal Vihar Yojana at Ginabahar village (Kunkuri block) and Balachhapar village (Jashpur town) at a cost of approximately ₹51.48 crore. A total of 225 housing units are proposed to be constructed through these two projects. These schemes will not only accelerate planned housing development in the district but also create new opportunities for families across various income groups to own a home. These projects are being advanced under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and in accordance with the special directives of Shri O.P. Chaudhary, the Minister for Housing and Environment and Minister-in-charge of Jashpur district. It is a priority of the state government that housing development is not confined merely to major cities but extends to district headquarters, smaller towns, and the block level, ensuring the availability of modern and well-planned housing facilities. With this objective, the Chhattisgarh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board is working towards expanding housing schemes across all 33 districts of the state.

  • Modern housing facilities reaching smaller towns through Chief Minister Shri Sai’s initiative

Prioritizing the expansion of housing facilities across the state, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has emphasized the development of housing schemes tailored to the needs of citizens in all 33 districts. In line with this vision, new housing projects are being realized in Jashpur district under the ‘Atal Vihar Yojana’. The aim of these projects is not merely to construct houses but to develop well-planned residential complexes where citizens can access a safe environment, superior roads, sanitation, greenery, and essential daily amenities all in one place.

The implementation of these schemes in Jashpur district will particularly benefit middle-income groups, low-income groups, and economically weaker families. Furthermore, the expansion of housing infrastructure in the district is expected to boost local economic activities, the construction sector, and employment opportunities.
