Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary virtually reviewed the progress of various development projects underway in the Sariya region of the Raigarh Assembly constituency in the Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district. In a meeting with the district administration and public representatives, he inquired about the status of the projects from the concerned departments and directed them to expedite the approved projects and complete them within the stipulated timeframe in a quality manner.
- In the review meeting of the works of electricity, drinking water and Amrit Mission
the Rajpur 132 kV power project, the works being carried out under Amrit Mission and the situation and problems related to the water level in the area were discussed. Mr. Chaudhary asked the concerned departments to regularly monitor the works and take necessary steps to resolve the problems that arise.
Instructions were given to complete the process of the approved works for which tenders have been issued and start the construction soon. Emphasis was also laid on regular monitoring of the ongoing development works in the Sariya area and keeping their updated information available.
- Instructions to ensure quality of hospital and roads:
The construction process of the nursing college and the 100-bed hospital were reviewed. The Minister directed the concerned department to pay special attention to the quality of construction and monitor the progress. Discussions were also held regarding the roads under construction. He urged the road construction work to be carried out with the prescribed quality.
- Asked to complete it within the time limit.
In the review meeting, Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Sarangarh, Tehsildar Saria and Barmkela, Chief Municipal Officer Saria along with the concerned officers of Water Resources, Rural Mechanical Services, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Public Health Engineering, Public Works, Electricity Department and CSEB were instructed to submit the updated information of the works of Saria area along with the necessary records.
