The festival of Raksha Bandhan in Chhattisgarh became special this time, when the women of the state expressed their affection and respect for Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai in a unique way. Women tied special Rakhis for the Chief Minister, which not only symbolize brotherhood but also the deep faith of women towards their safety and welfare. On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the Chief Minister’s residence was buzzing with a large number of women sisters who came from across the state to tie Rakhi to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai.
Feelings of women-
The members of the women’s group who came to tie Rakhi to the Chief Minister said that the government of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai is continuously working for the empowerment of women in the state and to protect their rights. Seeing their dedication, we thought that on this Raksha Bandhan, we should express our feelings towards them in a special way. Tying a Rakhi is a tradition, but for us it is also a way to give a message that we believe in their leadership and consider them our brother. Therefore, the women expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister by tying a Rakhi with ‘Thank you Vishnu Bhaiya’.
The women involved in the making of this Rakhi gave the message by making Rakhis that they appreciate the work done by them and consider them a part of their family.

Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed happiness over this unique initiative of the women and said that it is a matter of great honor for me. I am overwhelmed by the love that the sisters have given today. He said that I will continue to work continuously to live up to the expectations of all the sisters of the state. He further said that this Rakhi is not just a thread, but also reminds us of our duties and responsibilities towards them. Women and girls who have achieved a big position in various fields had reached the Chief Minister’s residence on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan today.
