Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that he salutes the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat, who united the nation, from Avantika, the sacred city of Mahakal. He welcomed and felicitated members of the Patidar community present at the event and said that India’s unity and integrity were not achieved by chance, but were the result of Sardar Patel’s firm resolve, indomitable courage, and deep devotion to the nation. The Chief Minister recalled that when India attained Independence in 1947, the country was divided into 562 princely states, a complex and challenging situation. As the Union Home Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, Sardar Patel demonstrated extraordinary determination and political acumen, uniting the states to build a strong and integrated India—an achievement recorded in golden letters in history.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Bhoomi Poojan ceremony of the State Office of the Madhya Pradesh Patidar Samaj Organisation in Ujjain on Sunday. He said that the ceremony was not merely about constructing a building, but about laying the foundation of strong willpower, unity, and a bright future. The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi immortalised the legacy of Sardar Patel by installing the world’s tallest statue at Kevadia in Gujarat. He described it as a privilege to perform the Bhoomi Poojan of the State Office of the Madhya Pradesh Patidar Samaj Organisation in the holy city of Baba Mahakal. He stated that the Patidar community follows the ideals of Sardar Patel and has a distinct identity across sectors, from agriculture to industry, trade, education, politics, and social service, playing a vital role in nation-building.

Rajya Sabha MP Sushri Kavita Patidar said that with the blessings of Baba Shri Mahakal, the office’s Bhoomi Poojan was being performed by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. She stated that the office would also undertake initiatives for employment generation and thanked all donors for their contributions. Shajapur MLA Arun Bhimavad also addressed the gathering and expressed gratitude.

CM Dr. Yadav inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp and paid floral tributes at the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. State President of the Patidar Samaj Organisation Shri Krishnakant Ji, Shri Shantilal Gami, Shri Rajesh Dhakad, Shri Sanjay Agrawal, Shri Ravi Solanki, and a large number of citizens were present.
