- Students should use AI to solve problems: Mr. Prabhat Malik
- One day workshop on Digital India concludes
A one-day Digital India Awareness Workshop was held today in the auditorium of Triple IT, Nava Raipur, to familiarize students and teachers with key Digital India initiatives. The workshop was organized to raise awareness about the International India AI Impact Summit 2026 , to be held in New Delhi from February 16-20 .
While addressing the workshop, the chief guest Professor Om Prakash Vyas , Director, Triple IT said that in the current era of rapidly changing technology, it is a challenging goal for us to make students aware of the changing technology. Professor Vyas said that AI will not be limited to just chat-bots; in future, AI agents are being developed which will take automatic decisions and provide solutions to problems. Professor Vyas said that currently AI is being used mostly in developed countries. He assured that under the Digital India Mission, India will definitely become a leading nation in AI.

Addressing the workshop, Mr. Prabhat Malik, Chief Executive Officer of CHIPS, said that AI should not be limited to studies but should be used for startups and innovation , so that students can find innovative solutions to problems through their innovation skills and their ability to think in a new way. This ability will help in choosing the right field and developing a professional career in related industries after studies. While inviting the students, Mr. Prabhat Malik said that practical experience can be gained through internship at CHIPS.
Mr. Atul Tripathi, Advisor, IISER Data Science Center , Mohali, encouraged young engineers to adopt innovative thinking to make the country a technologically strong nation. He also encouraged the youth to take steps towards innovation by using new technologies to strengthen the country’s defense system.
It is noteworthy that this workshop was organized in three sessions. Chief Guest Professor Om Prakash Vyas and Chief Executive Officer of CHIPS Mr. Prabhat Malik were present along with Dean of Academic Branch of Triple IT Professor Srinivas K.G. , Chief Executive Officer of CHIPS Mr. Mayank Agarwal , AI Scientist Mr. Harshit Kumar , Dr. Soumyajit Pramanik of IIT , Joint Chief Executive Officer of CHIPS Mr. Anupam Ashish Toppo and representative of NEGD Government of India Dr. Ashish Jaiswal were also present in the workshop. More than 300 students from various technical universities and colleges of the state participated in the workshop.
