- Increase the participation of students in competitive examinations
School Education Minister Gajendra Yadav said that ensure making the educational work in schools more effective, quality oriented and result oriented. A state level meeting of the principals of Swami Atmanand Utkrisht English and Hindi medium schools was held today in Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium , Science College Ground , Raipur under the chairmanship of School Education Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav. He expected all the principals to imbibe the values of equality, education and social justice like Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and pay special attention to the all-round development, discipline and quality education of the students and play their important role in taking the education level of the state to new heights.

The meeting began with the National Anthem , the National Anthem , the Deep Mantra, and Saraswati Vandana. The program began with a biography of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, commemorating his struggles and contributions to securing equal rights for all citizens. Principals from approximately 751 schools across the state participated in this important meeting. The main objective of the meeting was to make educational programs in schools more effective, qualitative, and result-oriented. The meeting discussed topics such as goal setting for improving board exam results for the upcoming academic session , strategies to increase student participation and success in competitive exams like NEET and JEE, a transparent admission process , improving English language proficiency , reviewing PTA meetings, and the role of parent-officers.
The meeting also discussed achievements in co-curricular activities , effective use of smart classes and libraries , improvement in educational quality, and innovation-based activities. The vision mission of SEJUS was presented through a PPT, sharing information on the enrollment of over 4.22 lakh students, smart classrooms, library use, teacher recruitment, monitoring , and student achievements .
School Education Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav, while addressing all the principals, said that every possible effort should be made to improve the performance of the schools. He laid special emphasis on friendly behavior of teachers, cordial relations with public representatives and local citizens and honesty in teaching. He also directed to give individual attention to each student and to take at least one class by the principals. He directed that the national anthem , national anthem and Deep Mantra should be sung in the schools daily and Gayatri Mantra and Shanti Path should be organised at the time of dismissal. He said that Saturday should be celebrated as activity day , two groups should be formed compulsorily for making students practice yoga and teaching skills like gardening and housekeeping.

The Education Minister directed to provide guidance for preparation of competitive exams with special focus on students of classes 9th to 12th. He directed to celebrate “English Speaking Day” by fixing one day every month and to control the use of mobile phones in the school premises. He also expressed his commitment to promote AI based education system and provide quality education. In the meeting, Samagra Shiksha Commissioner Mrs. Kiran Kaushal , Joint Secretary Mrs. Fariha Alam Siddiqui , Joint Director of SCERT Mr. K. Kumar , Deputy Director Mr. A.N. Banjara , DEO Mr. Himanshu Bhartiya and principals from across the state were present.
