Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav conducted a high-level review of the Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan, the completed Sankalp Se Samadhan Abhiyan, and various public welfare activities being implemented by the government from the ministry on Friday. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed the progress of the schemes in detail with all the commissioners and collectors of the state through video conferencing and provided appropriate guidelines.
In the review meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav told all departmental officers and collectors that the government is making significant efforts through various campaigns for the betterment of the state and society. Public involvement and participation are crucial in all these government efforts and campaigns. The significance and success of these campaigns will be ensured only if there is maximum public support and participation. To this end, everyone should make dedicated and focused efforts.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav urged all collectors to expedite the completion of public welfare projects. Ensure smooth and efficient implementation of government schemes on a wide scale, using full competence and efficiency in the field. Engage with the public and public representatives, respond to their needs and suggestions, and enhance their own and the government’s credibility through people-oriented administration.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that all the collectors should regularly visit the district, discuss with the people, listen to their problems and solve them and spend the night in the villages, this will help in the implementation of government schemes at the ground level.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the “Sankalp Se Samadhan Abhiyan” was launched in the state from January 12th to March 31st, 2026. This campaign directly benefited the public and the needy from 106 government schemes. All collectors should remain active to achieve the primary goals of this campaign and ensure maximum benefits to the public.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan, a water conservation campaign launched in the state on March 19th, will continue until June 30, 2026. The water conservation work carried out under the campaign over the past two years has earned Madhya Pradesh national recognition. Now, it’s essential to make every effort to conserve water and revive dried-up water sources this year as well.

While reviewing the ongoing wheat procurement process in the state, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that wheat from small farmers should be purchased first and that they should also be paid on time. All collectors should conduct intensive inspections of wheat procurement centers and ensure that all necessary facilities, including adequate shade, water, gunny bags, and ORS solution and powder, are available at the procurement centers due to the intense heat. Farmers should not face any procedural or administrative problems. Additional Chief Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies, Mrs. Rashmi Arun Shami, stated that the wheat procurement process is continuing smoothly. To date, 496,000 metric tons of wheat has been procured from over 113,000 farmers. These farmers have been paid over ₹355 crore. She added that this is the first time this year that farmers whose produce was weighed on the first day were paid on the second day itself.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav urged the Urban Development and Administration Department to integrate their departmental cleanliness campaign with the Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan. With public support, install drinking water fountains at various locations. Pay special attention to their cleanliness. Innovate by integrating technology.
- Sandipani schools should implement rainwater harvesting plan
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed that the remarkable results achieved in the board examinations due to Sandipani schools in the state be publicized as a national achievement. He said that the quality brought to the education system of the state by all Sandipani schools of Madhya Pradesh should be publicized at the national level. He said that the perception of parents regarding Sandipani schools in the state has changed to such an extent that they are withdrawing the admissions of their children from private schools and getting them admitted in government Sandipani schools.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed the School Education and Tribal Affairs Department to install rainwater harvesting systems in all Sandipani schools across the state. When schools reopen in June, more people should be encouraged to visit Sandipani schools. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that it is a major achievement that due to improvements in the state’s education system, our school dropout ratio has reached zero.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while giving instructions to the Health Department, said that all major religious sites in the state should have at least 50-bed hospitals. Burn units should be established in all divisional headquarters. Strict adherence to summer standing instructions (medical protocols) should be ensured. Essential medicines should be available in all hospitals. All collectors and urban bodies should complete preparations for the cleanliness survey.
- There should be no shortage in drinking water supply
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the supply system should be improved to ensure uninterrupted drinking water supply during the summer. Tankers should supply drinking water as needed. Pay special attention to the protection and maintenance of drinking water structures. No one should face any drinking water related problems.
- Gyan Bharatam App
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Union Ministry of Culture has developed a “Gyan Bharatam App.” Any citizen can upload old literary or religious manuscripts to this app. Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Anupam Rajan reported that as of April 17, 2026, more than 6.5 lakh manuscripts had been uploaded to this app. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed all collectors to form a district-level committee to address this issue.
In the video conferencing, information was given about the achievements made by the collectors of the state in various campaigns and various subjects. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the collectors who performed well and instructed the collectors who were lagging behind in performance to improve by doing better work. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that to create an environment of healthy competition in the state, now all the collectors of the state will be ranked on the basis of their work done in the last one year.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh has always been at the forefront in the country in implementing schemes for women’s welfare. A women’s empowerment conference will also be held in Bhopal on April 20th. This will also include a women’s rally and a public meeting.
In the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav took feedback on the field implementation of various schemes and directed the collectors to further improve the delivery system and make it more customer-friendly. He urged the collectors to act as team leaders in their districts.
