- A flood of villagers gathered at the Kukrell camp.
- 266 out of 314 applications were decided on the spot.
In Chhattisgarh, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, ‘Good Governance Festival’ has become the biggest source of solutions to public problems. This special campaign, which began on May 1st, is bringing the administration directly to the public. The administration’s sensitivity was evident at the ‘Solution Camp’ held in Kukrell, Nagari Block, Dhamtari district, when more than 250 of the 314 applications received were resolved on the spot.
- “People should get immediate relief” – Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai
Chief Minister Shri Sai has issued clear instructions regarding Good Governance Festival that complaints should be resolved on the ground, not just on paper. Records of every application should be maintained online and transparently. Officials are visiting villages themselves to avoid the need for villagers to travel to the tehsil or district headquarters. Strict instructions have been given to resolve applications that cannot be resolved on the spot within a time limit.
- Highlights of the camp: Mahakumbh of public service

A large number of villagers from 17 Gram Panchayats, including Kukrel, Dargahan, Saloni, Kergaon, and Bhothapara, arrived with their demands and problems. Of the 314 applications, 306 were related to development works and personal demands, of which 262 were immediately approved or processed. Stalls for the Water Resources, Health, Revenue, Agriculture, and Women and Child Development departments provided information about the schemes and directly benefited beneficiaries.
The camp’s primary objective was not only to resolve complaints but also to bridge the gap between the government and the public. Villagers praised the initiative, stating that the process of availing benefits of government schemes has become simpler and more accessible than ever before. The administration is committed to the quality resolution of each application. Under Good Governance Day, even the remotest individuals in the district are being connected to the mainstream of development. This Good Governance Day campaign will continue uninterrupted until June 10th. The outline for the next camps has been prepared in different areas of the district, so that the benefits of good governance of ‘Sai Sarkar’ can reach every household.
