Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, Sian Gudi, a center for senior citizens in Jashpur district, is emerging as an important center for care, healthcare, and social engagement for the elderly.

Under this ambitious initiative of the Social Welfare Department, 94 senior citizens have been registered in the district so far. Of these, 32 senior citizens are receiving regular physiotherapy, providing relief from physical problems.
Recently, a team of experts from the District Hospital, consisting of medical officers, psychologists, psychiatric nurses, and lab technicians, conducted health checkups and blood tests on the beneficiaries of Sian Gudi and the de-addiction center.

The team also provided necessary medical advice, mental health advice, and counseling to the senior citizens.
At Sian Gudi, senior citizens participate in various recreational, social, and health-enhancing activities every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. After the day’s activities, the Sunderkand is recited in the presence of all registered senior citizens and staff, creating an atmosphere of spiritual and mental peace.

Senior citizens benefiting from Sian Gudi expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, saying that the center has become a place of respect, care, and affection for them.
The Social Welfare Department has appealed to all senior citizens in the district to visit Sian Gudi in large numbers and take advantage of this useful facility.
