Thanks to the special efforts of Deputy Chief Minister and Kawardha MLA Shri Vijay Sharma, modern mini stadiums are being constructed at a cost of ₹52 lakh each to provide better sports facilities to the youth in various rural areas of Kabirdham district. The construction of these stadiums will not only help the youth of rural areas hone their sporting talents but also provide them with greater physical preparation for recruitment into the police, army, and other security forces.

Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sharma has instructed officials to complete all construction work before the monsoon and hand it over to the respective village committees. Following his instructions, District Panchayat President Mr. Ishwari Sahu visited various villages and inspected the mini stadiums under construction. Mr. Narendra Manikpuri, officials from the RES department, members of the stadium committee, contractors, and sarpanches of the respective villages were present on the occasion.

District Panchayat President Shri Ishwari Sahu said that Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma is constantly striving to provide urban-like facilities to the youth of rural areas. Under his leadership, sports facilities are being expanded in villages, providing opportunities for talented athletes to thrive. He said that this initiative will motivate youth towards sports and discipline, keeping them away from drug addiction and distraction. This will provide a new platform to the talent of the youth and will create a positive environment for sports. On the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sharma, a committee of local youth has also been formed for the maintenance and operation of the stadiums. This committee will assist in the maintenance, cleanliness and operation of sports activities of the stadium. This will also develop a sense of responsibility and participation among the youth.
