Under the Chief Minister’s Rural Bus Scheme, public transportation has been strengthened in remote and rural areas of Jashpur district. Currently, 11 buses operate regularly in the district, providing safe, accessible, and affordable travel to thousands of villagers.
According to information received from the District Transport Office, buses operate on the Kailashgufa-Bagichha, Sanna-Champa, Kotba-Buldega, Telain-Farsabahar, Ranpur-Kansabhel, Dokra-Duldula, Jashpur-Harri, Jashpur-Bichitoli, Junadih-Basantala, Pathalgaon-Narayanpur, and Duldula-Abira routes. The introduction of these routes has improved connectivity of remote villages to major markets, educational institutions, and health centers.

Since the implementation of the scheme, villagers no longer have to rely on private vehicles or expensive modes of transportation. Regular bus service at low fares is saving people both time and money, making daily commutes more convenient and accessible.

Through improved connectivity and easy transportation in rural areas, this scheme is opening up new possibilities for development.
