Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that whoever gives us life, leads us to the right path, is always worthy of praise. For us, nature is the form of God, because it gives us life, nourishes us. So we all should worship nature and worship it. The Chief Minister said that trees are the basis of our life and also the decoration of Vasudha. Like the sages of the trees, they practice Sadhana by staying at this place. These are generous seekers who absorb our negative energy and give us positive energy (prana vayu). The Chief Minister said that covering barren land with greenery is like covering Mother Nature with greenery. ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ Abhiyaan is not a government program, it is an Abhiyaan Ka Abhiyan Ka Permanente Prabandh Karne hai Jeevan Ke Liye Samson Ka Prahanda Karne hai. Water, forest, land and animals as our eco-system is prepared, this mission is the mission of security.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing a sapling program organized at the Border Security Force (BSF) premises at village Budhania in Indore district on Sunday. The Chief Minister brought his venerable mother here. In memory of Smt. Leela Bai Yadav, the campaign of planting 21 lakh trees and setting up (construction) of 51 thousand water storage units in Indore was started by lighting the lamp. He said that panch mahabhutas have been recognized in our culture. The most prominent of these is water. Jal se hi hamara jeevan hai. The participation of the entire society in the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign and the Puneet Mahabhiyan to save water, forest and environment is highly appreciated. We should all come together in this direction.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced an incentive of Rs 2 lakh to Prithvi, a partner social organization of the government and society in tree plantation and water harvesting, and two BSF jawans who rendered outstanding services in the Naxal Eradication campaign conducted in the region by honoring the platform and giving an incentive of Rs 2 lakh each.
- Indore has shown the direction of improvement in water conservation
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that today the city of Indore is known as that glorious page of the past, which revived Sanatan culture. During her reign, Goddess Ahilya Mata built wells and bavaris at many places to maintain harmony with nature along with her original responsibility. Taking inspiration from them, the Government of Madhya Pradesh has launched a campaign to clean and reconstruct rivers, ponds, wells, and dams in the direction of water conservation. Large-scale water conservation work took place in Indore. Indore has shown the direction of water conservation to the country. Due to this, Madhya Pradesh has achieved a remarkable position in the country. The Chief Minister said that at present, climate related challenges like Al Nino are facing us. In such a case, tree plantation is the most effective solution to maintain environmental balance. ‘Ek Ped – Maa Ke Naam’ campaign is an important and inspiring initiative in this direction.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that whenever Indore does something, it creates a record. Jal ho ya jungle, a lot of good work is being done in Indore in the direction of environmental protection. He said that 8 to 10 feet saplings are being planted in the plantation drive, which will grow and bear fruit soon. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this is the third year of this campaign and every year the participation of the society is increasing. More than 1 lakh forest species saplings will be planted here in the next three days. The Chief Minister congratulated the people of the district for taking a resolution to plant 21 lakh saplings in Indore district this Amrit Harit Mahotsav-2026.

Senior MLA and State President Mr. Hemant Khandelwal said that Indore being the financial capital of the state is now setting the direction of environmental protection. The grand campaign of the resolution to plant 21 lakh saplings under ‘Ek Ped – Maa Ke Naam’ is undoubtedly highly commendable.
Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya said that Mother Earth has given us invaluable blessings of water, forest, biodiversity and minerals. Our Madhya Pradesh is nature’s son. Entire Indore has gathered for Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan. This campaign is a public movement on the initiative of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Indore Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargava said that we are giving more momentum to Jal Ganga Conservation Mission of the State Government. We have built 8 thousand 500 water storage units so far towards the target of making 51 thousand water storage units. We have given the form of Jan Kranti to water conservation in Indore.
