Chief Minister Dr. A large delegation of Progressive Pensioners Association of Shajapur district led by Shajapur MLA Mr. Arun Bhimavad paid a courtesy call on Mohan Yadav on Tuesday in the Committee Room No.1 of Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha.
Progressive Pensioners Association appreciated the many welfare decisions taken by the government in the interest of all the pensioners of the region. Chief Minister Dr. Pensioners asked Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was thanked and congratulated.
It is noteworthy that at the time of Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh partition, according to an agreement between Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh governments, after the central government announced Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR), both the state governments used to take approval from each other to give DR to their pensioners. This caused a delay of several months in declaring DR to the pensioners of the region. Now with the agreement between the two states on this issue, now both the governments will be able to give their pensioners immediately through DR. Now pensioners will not have to wait much for DR.
