- requested to allocate additional land for setting up the second unit in Pithampur.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state is making continuous progress in every field. He expressed happiness that industrialists and investors are showing interest in investing in the region. He said that every investor who wants to invest in the heart of a prosperous country is welcome. Officials of Shyam Cell and Power Company Limited paid a courtesy call on the Chief Minister at the Chief Minister’s Chamber in the MP Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday. Company’s Joint Managing Director Mr. Sanjay Agarwal and Chief Operating Officer Mr. Deepak Kumar Gaur met Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed about the future projects of his company.
The investors of the power company said that their company manufactures stainless steel. One of their manufacturing units is already operational in Pithampur, an industrial area of Dhar district. The company has invested 550 crore rupees in this manufacturing unit and has given employment to 1300 people. The company wants to start its second manufacturing unit in Pithampur. The company intends to invest about 1000 crore rupees and provide employment to more than 1000 thousand people. For this they need this additional land in Pithampur. The company officials requested the Chief Minister to allot additional land to them.
Principal Secretary, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Mr. Raghavendra Kumar Singh said that the company has been briefed about all the new industrial policies of the region. The company has also set up its second manufacturing unit at Pithampur. 25 acres of land has already been allotted to the company for this second manufacturing unit. But the company needs more land. On this occasion M.P. Shri Chandramouli Shukla, Managing Director of Industrial Development Corporation Limited and other departmental senior officers were also present.
