- On the seventh day, the message of de-addiction reached lakhs of citizens in schools, colleges, bazaars, industrial establishments and public places.
Chief Minister Dr. Under the leadership of Mohan Yadav and under the guidance of Director General of Police Shri Kailash Makwana, Madhya Pradesh Police is conducting awareness programs on a wide scale with public participation on the seventh day of the ” Nashe Se Dastri Hai Mazhoori 2.0″ campaign conducted across the region. In various districts of the region, police officers and employees interacted with the citizens at schools , colleges , gram panchayats , industrial units , religious places , haat-bazaars , bus stands and other public places and gave information about the side effects of drugs and pledged to create a drug-free society. Under the campaign, people were also made aware through painting , poster , slogan , rangoli and essay competitions , street plays , human series , awareness rallies , mass communication , oath taking , digital campaign and social media campaigns.
On the seventh day of the campaign, 03 awareness chariots , 25 LED screens and 60 big billboards were used to broadcast drug addiction messages continuously in Indore Commissionerate . Painting , Slogan , Rangoli , Poetry , Essay and Open Mic competitions were organized in various educational institutions . By interacting with the citizens at various police station areas , intersections , settlements and public places, they were made aware of the ill effects of drug addiction. The campaign was made effective at both digital and community levels through social media reels , podcasts and neighborhood committee meetings.
Police organized awareness programs at 28 different places in Khandwa district. Citizens were made aware against drug addiction by holding a joint bike rally in the city. Mass communication was organized at many places including schools , hostels , colleges , gram panchayats , bus stands and Omkareshwar.
Khargone Police administered drug free online oath to students and teachers along with competitions in schools. Audio jingles were broadcast through dial- 112 vehicles. De-addiction messages were played continuously on LED screens of the Municipal Corporation . Every section of the society was connected with the campaign by establishing dialogue with trade organizations , vehicle associations , journalists , social organizations and public representatives. Awareness programs were also organized at hospitals , mining areas and public places.
In Alirajpur district, traditional costumes and street plays in the local dialect were presented in hat-bazaars, connecting the local tribal culture with the campaign.
Painting competitions , awareness rallies and collective oath programs were organized in various schools and colleges in Anuppur district . Citizens were also made aware about the side effects of drugs at banks , markets and public places.
In a very unique initiative by the Police Training School, Ujjain, 300 inmates of the Central Jail at Bhairugarh were informed about the ill effects of drugs and motivated to lead a crime and drug free life.
RAPTC Indore Ramakrishna Mission School and Govt . Maharani Lakshmi Bai Kanya P.G. Painting and Essay competitions were organized in the college , in which the winners were encouraged by medals and certificates.

Awareness programs were organized at schools , gram sabhas , industrial establishments , hostels and public places in many districts of the region including Agar-Malwa , Ashoknagar , Umaria , Katni , Vidisha , Indore Rural. A message was given to students , parents , youth , women and rural citizens to stay away from drugs and inspire others too. The police officers made the campaign effective by adopting innovations to suit the local conditions in each district.
Madhya Pradesh Police’s ” Nashe Se Dastri Hai Mazhoori 2.0″ campaign is not limited to law enforcement , but is becoming a wider mass movement to mobilize the society against drug addiction. The aim of Madhya Pradesh Police is to create a drug-free , healthy and safe Madhya Pradesh with the participation of youth , students , parents and every section of the society . Such widespread public awareness programs will be organized continuously throughout the region in the coming days as well.
