Chhattisgarh’s Cooperative Minister, Mr. Kedar Kashyap, held an important review meeting to give new impetus to the cooperative movement in the state and make banking services more effective. Held at his residence in Nava Raipur, the meeting was attended by the presidents and senior officials of the Chhattisgarh Apex Bank and the District Cooperative Central Banks.

Special emphasis was placed on providing better, transparent, and modern banking facilities to the state’s farmers. Minister Mr. Kashyap issued strict instructions to ensure that the benefits of the government’s public welfare schemes reach eligible beneficiaries with complete transparency and in a timely manner. Detailed discussions were held on improving the functioning of cooperative banks and expanding digital banking services. Various suggestions were discussed regarding making cooperative institutions more effective, accountable, and people-oriented.

Cooperation Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap said that the state government is constantly striving for the economic empowerment of farmers and rural areas. The cooperative system is the backbone of the rural economy, and strengthening it is therefore a priority for the government. He called on the presidents, officials, and officers of all banks to work in better coordination with each other, so that the state’s cooperative sector can become more robust and public-friendly.
