Crisp and Manit will work together in areas of clean energy, including green hydrogen

An important MoU was signed between Center for Research and Industrial Staff Performance (CRISP) and Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal with the aim of promoting skill development, research and clean energy technologies in the field of green hydrogen and clean energy.

This partnership is being considered as an important step in the direction of promoting green hydrogen, green ammonia, decarbonization and carbon neutral technologies in the country in line with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of self-reliant India and National Green Hydrogen Mission. Through this collaboration, youth, industries and technical institutes will be trained in accordance with the emerging technologies of the future.

Under the MoU, both institutes will jointly conduct training programmes, faculty development programmes, industrial consultancy services and technical projects for students, faculty, industry and technical experts. Along with this, modernization of laboratories of technical education institutes and universities, skill development and research activities in accordance with the needs of industries will also be promoted.

Under the partnership, capacity building programs will be organized specifically on green hydrogen, green ammonia and decarbonisation technologies. Apart from this, special training programs will also be conducted for ITI trainees, trainers, technical staff and farmers to promote the use of clean energy technologies and new employment opportunities.

Crisp and Mainitt expressed confidence that this collaboration would establish strong synergies between academia, research and industry. It will also play an important role in preparing trained manpower for the clean energy sector in the country through innovation, technology transfer and industry-oriented skill development.
