The patriotic evening ” Folk Festival of Democracy – Bharat Parv ” was organized in a dignified atmosphere at the J.H. College auditorium. The program was inaugurated by District Development Advisory Committee member Mr. Sudhakar Pawar , Collector Mr. Narendra Kumar Suryavanshi and Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat Mr. Akshat Jain by lighting a lamp on the picture of Goddess Saraswati. Additional Collector Mrs. Vandana Jat , Nodal Officer Bharat Parv and Assistant Commissioner Tribal Affairs Mr. Vivek Pandey along with other officials were present on this occasion .
In the programme, renowned artiste of Bhopal, Ms. Shubhra Guha along with her 17-member team presented the major events of the freedom movement – Jallianwala Bagh massacre , Quit India Movement etc. – in an impressive manner through patriotic songs “ Rang De Basanti Chola ” and “ Vijay Vishwa Tiranga Pyara ” .
Artist Mr. Anshul Athhiya from Sagar, along with a 12-member team, mesmerized the audience with his captivating performance of ” Badhaai Folk Dance ” . The students of Kanya Krida Parisar gave an energetic and soulful dance performance on patriotic songs. At the same time , the students of Kanya Parisar Betul added special attraction to the program by presenting tribal folk dance. The folk dance presented by the students of Scheduled Caste Hostel No. 2 also won the appreciation of the audience. During the program, the guests honored the officers and employees who did excellent work in special intensive review and departmental responsibilities.

On the occasion of Bharat Parv, the Public Relations Office, Betul, organized an exhibition showcasing various government schemes and programs , which was visited by all the guests. The exhibition played a vital role in informing the public about important government schemes.
