Practice books and other educational materials were given to more than 300 students
Adani Foundation distributed educational material to 300 children studying in Navodaya Coaching Center in Tilda block of the district. The main objective of this program is to empower the educational journey of the students of Navodaya Coaching Center by providing them free educational material and prepare them to succeed in the entrance examination of Navodaya Vidyalaya. It is noteworthy that so far 62 children from this coaching center of Adani Foundation have got admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Mana, Raipur, which is a proof of the success of this effort.
The chief guest in this distribution program organized at the plant premises of Adani Power Limited, Raikheda was Shri Shrikant Vaidya, Station Head, Adani Power Limited, Raipur. The children of Navodaya Coaching Center and their parents, Plant Safety Head Rajkumar Mandal, Human Resources Head Mr. Bhupendra Bais, CSR Head Deepak Singh, and members of the CSR team were present in the program. Chief Guest Mr. Shrikant Vaidya distributed practice books and other educational materials for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Examination to the students studying in Navodaya Coaching Centers.
Under the social concerns of Adani Power Limited, Raipur, Adani Foundation is making many efforts for quality education of talented children of 12 villages including village Raikheda, Bhatapara, Gaitra, Khapri, Chicholi, Mura, Mohrenga, Gaurkheda, Tarashiv, Chhatod, Konari and Khamharia. Under which, it is running a free Navodaya Coaching Center for admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya affiliated to the Central Education Board. Along with this, many programs for quality medical care, education and livelihood enhancement are also being conducted regularly in the region.
