Under its ‘Project Utthan’ initiative in the Pusaur block of Raigarh district, the Adani Foundation organized a summer camp from April 22 to April 25, 2025, across 26 government primary and upper primary schools. The objective of the camp was to sustain children’s interest in continuous learning during the summer break through holistic personality development and creative activities.
The summer camp was inaugurated at the primary school in Sarwani village. Conducted from 7 AM to 9 AM, the camp saw enthusiastic participation from over 450 students. During the camp, children engaged in various activities, including story writing, group reading, mathematical exercises, crossword puzzles, painting, paper bag and greeting card making, book reading, and games like chess, carrom, and ludo. Additionally, they practiced yoga, meditation, music, and dance.
Parents and community members appreciated this initiative. The camp also included awareness sessions on the importance of nutritious food, environmental conservation, personal hygiene, handwashing, and reducing plastic usage. Students further spread the message of environmental awareness through a tree plantation activity.
