- Artificial Intelligence will empower young entrepreneurs
The Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology launched a six-week Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based entrepreneurship development program at Vigyan Bhawan, Nehru Nagar, Bhopal. The program is being conducted under the aegis of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The program aims to foster innovation, technical skills, and entrepreneurial thinking among youth. Participants will be trained in fundamental and advanced AI concepts, modern tools, and their practical applications, enabling them to develop innovative, scalable, and sustainable startups to address societal and industrial problems.
At the event, All India Co-Organization Minister, Vigyan Bharati, Shri Praveen Ramdas, stated that start-ups and self-employment are effective means of job creation. He added that start-ups not only help young people build their careers, but also create new employment opportunities for others. Dr. Rajiv Dixit, Vice President of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis, stated that the current need is to utilize artificial intelligence in all sectors, including trade and industry, education, security, agriculture, and healthcare. Water conservation expert Shri Sunil Chaturvedi, wishing the trainees a bright future, described the program as timely and important. Dr. Anil Kothari, Director General, Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology, provided information about the training programs conducted by the Council, stating that supporting youth in starting start-ups through technology, marketing, and financial assistance is one of the Council’s key priorities. Start-up founder Shri Pradeep Karmabelkar was also present at the event.
The program will cover key topics such as understanding entrepreneurship, MSME support schemes, financial institutions, project selection and pre-feasibility studies, market surveys, preliminary project report development, communication and soft skills development, prompt engineering, generative AI, production planning, working capital management, marketing, finance, human resources, legal formalities, taxation, and leadership skills. Participants will also receive technical training through interactive tools, graphics, and augmented reality. Experienced experts from various organizations and institutions across the country, government department officials, successful entrepreneurs, bankers, chartered accountants, marketing and motivational experts, and representatives from entrepreneurship development institutions will share their experiences. The training methodology will include lectures, case studies, group exercises, presentations, hands-on sessions, and interactions with entrepreneurs.
