Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that no matter the weather, farmers are always concerned about their fields and barns. A good harvest ensures a year-round harvest, but if for some reason the yield is low, pests infest, or hailstorms damage the crop, then it means a year-long drought. This is no longer the case. Farmers are our food providers. Whatever their difficulties or problems, our government stands by them, supporting and shielding them. Farmers are the foundation of our culture, our heritage, and the true drivers of the state’s economy. Our sole goal is to improve the lives of farmers and bring prosperity to their fields, barns, and homes. The prosperity of the state lies in the prosperity of the farmers. The Soybean Price Difference Payment Scheme is the government’s effort to bring prosperity to the lives of farmers. This scheme honors the farmers’ hard work, dedication, and devotion.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the ‘Annadata Samman Samaroh’ in Malhargarh of Mandsaur district on Thursday. The Chief Minister transferred price difference amount of about Rs 200 crore to the accounts of 1 lakh 17 thousand farmers of the state as the last installment of Soybean Price Difference Payment Scheme. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that since the beginning of the scheme till now, our government has given price difference amount of about Rs 1500 crore to more than 7 lakh 10 thousand soybean producing farmers. Farmers of Mandsaur district are also included among the farmers who have received price difference amount today. More than 27 thousand farmers of Mandsaur district have received price difference amount of about Rs 43 crore. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav handed over cheques of Bhavantar amount to five farmers of Mandsaur district under Bhavantar Yojana, including Rs. 95 thousand to Shri Raghuveer Singh, Rs. 73 thousand to Shri Mukesh Patidar, Rs. 64 thousand to Shri Omkar Singh and also to Shri Ramdayal and Shri Jagdishchandra Patidar.
- Bravery honored – Late Manohar Singh Chauhan’s son given government service appointment letter
A very sensitive side of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was also revealed at the Malhargarh conference. The Chief Minister presented a compassionate appointment letter to Mr. Sanjay Singh, son of the late Manohar Singh Chauhan, who risked his life to save the lives of four people in an accident in Malhargarh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this is a recognition of bravery. Seeing a car sinking in an accident near Malhargarh, Mr. Manohar Singh, without caring for his own life, immediately jumped into the water. He saved the lives of the four people in the car, but could not save his own. It is our duty to honor such bravery. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Mr. Sanjay Singh, 22, son of the late Manohar Singh, is being given a direct appointment letter (as a compassionate appointment) to the post of Police Constable (GD) under a special case. He said that every citizen who displays humanity deserves respect. We all must have the compassion to save the lives of others.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also presented various development projects to the residents of Mandsaur district. He performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a four-lane flyover on the Mandsaur-Neemuch State Highway in the Malhargarh Assembly constituency at a cost of ₹51.91 crore and a railway underbridge in Pipliya Mandi at a cost of ₹5.53 crore. The Chief Minister also inaugurated a newly constructed railway underpass on the Narayangarh road from Malhargarh Railway Station, costing ₹2.06 crore. Following the request of Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Deora, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced the construction of a new flyover bridge in Pipliya Mandi in the Malhargarh Assembly constituency, the renovation of the Bhuwani Mata Temple, and the development of the Kaka Gadgil Sagar Dam into an attractive tourist destination. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the residents of Mandsaur have also received another major gift today in the form of the Lord Shri Pashupatinath Lok, constructed at a cost of ₹25 crore.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to implement a government-funded price difference scheme for farmers. This scheme has ensured that soybean farmers in the state have received the full price for their crops. He added that Madhya Pradesh is recognized for its farmers’ perseverance, patience, and tireless hard work. We will ensure that every farmer receives the full price for their labor.

- Mustard and groundnut crops will also be brought under the Bhavantar Yojana.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that Madhya Pradesh’s farmers, through their hard work and abundant grain production, have enhanced the state’s prestige in the country. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, our government has taken numerous farmer-friendly decisions. He added that in the Farmer Welfare Year 2026, the state government has linked farmers to value-adding agriculture-based industries and food processing. Now, our state’s farmers will process their own produce, ensuring they receive a fair price for their produce. The state government will ensure no shortage of farmers’ prosperity by increasing their income. All eligible farmers in the state are receiving fair prices for their crops under the Bhavantar Yojana. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that in the coming years, our government will also bring mustard and peanut crops under the Bhavantar Yojana.
- Will provide 2.5 lakh new jobs in the next 5 years
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that the state government had promised to provide one lakh jobs to the state’s youth. Of these, 60,000 positions have already been filled. In the next five years, 250,000 new jobs will be created in the state. He added that medical colleges have already been built in Mandsaur and Neemuch. To connect women with employment, Mandsaur has also been gifted a nursing college. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that all eligible women in the state are receiving benefits under the Ladli Behna Yojana. His government has increased the amount under the Chief Minister’s Ladli Behna Yojana to ₹1,500. This amount is being transferred to women’s accounts every month. We are developing all places associated with Lord Shri Ram and Shri Krishna on the state’s land as pilgrimage sites.
- Cotton producing farmers will get full benefit from the country’s first PM Mitra Park.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh also holds a special place in organic cotton production. Prime Minister Shri Modi has performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the country’s first PM Mitra Park in Dhar to ensure that cotton producing farmers get the right price for their produce. This will benefit 6 lakh farmers and provide employment opportunities to the youth. He said that our governments have connected every village of the state with paved roads. Farmers have also benefited from easy transportation in rural areas. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the land of Mandsaur is fertile, the garlic here is world famous.
- Mandsaur is creating a unique identity
Mandsaur is developing a unique identity. Today, Mandsaur is recognized as a leader in the White Revolution, Green Revolution, and Blue Revolution. The aroma of Mandsaur’s crops, flowers, and spices is unique. Following Kuno National Park, leopards have now also reached Mandsaur.
- Every village and farm is getting water from Gandhi Sagar Dam: Deputy Chief Minister Shri Deora
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Jagdish Devda said that every village and every farm in the Malhargarh Assembly constituency is receiving water from the Gandhi Sagar Dam. Irrigation acreage in the state is steadily increasing. Last year, our government presented a budget of over 4 lakh 21 thousand crore rupees. In the new financial year, we are going even further. He said that the Malhargarh Assembly constituency has received many gifts in the form of schools, hospitals, and industries. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Madhya Pradesh is becoming a developed state. Our government has set a goal of doubling the state budget in the next five years.

Mandsaur Lok Sabha MP Mr. Sudhir Gupta said that Mandsaur has received special affection from Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. By declaring 2026 as the Farmer Welfare Year, the Chief Minister has taken a very effective step in the interest of farmers. Today, our state’s cultural heritage is continuously enriched. The area of irrigated land is also continuously increasing.
