The Chief Minister and his cabinet members have embarked on a pilgrimage to Ayodhya Dham, filled with deep devotion and affection for Lord Shri Ram, also known as ‘Bhancha Ram’ in Chhattisgarh. Carrying offerings of sweet berries and holy water from Mata Shabri’s shrine in Shivrinarayan, Chhattisgarh, they flew in a special plane chanting “Jai Shri Ram” as they departed. Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed that the purpose of their visit is to seek the blessings of Lord Shri Ram for the happiness and prosperity of the country and the state. Traditional delicacies from Chhattisgarh, such as Vishnu Bhog rice, Sitaphal, Airsa, and Curry Laddoo, along with clothes made of local Kosa fabric, will be offered to Lord Shri Ram by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. The gift plate prepared for Lord Shri Ram by the Chief Minister contains items related to the Ram Katha, symbolizing the divine presence of the Lord in Chhattisgarh through Mata Shabri’s berries, Vishnu Bhog rice, and Sitaphal.
