 Chhattisgarh’s budget is an important step towards the all-round development of the state.

The 2026-27 budget presented by the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai is being seen as an important and visionary initiative towards the state’s all-round and inclusive development. Presenting this resolution-based budget in the Assembly, State Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary reiterated the government’s commitment to good governance, transparency, and public welfare. Based on the five elements of policy, justice, investment, construction, and innovation, this budget is considered a concrete and result-oriented step towards realizing the goals of the vision document “Chhattisgarh Anjor-2047” for a developed Chhattisgarh. Jashpur district has also been given special priority in this budget, which is expected to provide new impetus to the district’s all-round development.

Provisions have been made for key sectors in the district, such as infrastructure, agriculture, irrigation, sports, education, and religious tourism. This will not only increase local employment opportunities but also promote balanced development of rural and urban areas. Special provisions have been made to accelerate road and bridge construction, which will strengthen connectivity in remote areas and facilitate transportation.

Chartered Accountant Mr. Binit Jindal, a resident of Kunkuri, praised the state government’s 2026-27 budget, saying that in line with Chief Minister Mr. Vishnudev Sai’s visionary approach, the proposal to build a new stadium to expand sports facilities in the district is an inspiring step for the youth. Additionally, the Pumpshala Anicut lift irrigation scheme will expand irrigation facilities for farmers, directly benefiting them and increasing their income. He added that the construction of various roads and bridges in the district will reduce distances, enhance connectivity, and encourage commercial activities. Special provisions for religious tourism, education, and the promotion of clay crafts will contribute to the district’s cultural and economic development.

In the same vein, young Mr. Rajkumar expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister, stating that this budget has been prepared with the empowerment of the poor, farmers, youth, and women at its core. He expressed confidence that the effective implementation of these provisions will not only propel Jashpur district, but the entire state to new heights of development.

Mr. Ghanshyam Yadav, a businessman from Bogi village, also welcomed the budget, saying he has been doing business locally for the past 10-15 years. The budget’s special priority on livelihoods and investment will provide support to small businesses. The boost to local industries and businesses will accelerate economic activity and strengthen the region’s economic situation.

It is noteworthy that this budget for the year 2026-27 is a balanced document of development, trust, and opportunity, laying the foundation for comprehensive change from rural to urban areas. The provisions made for Jashpur district will pave the way for positive change in the fields of education, sports, agriculture, tourism, and small industries in the future. This budget, prepared by the state government in accordance with public sentiment, will prove to be a milestone in making Chhattisgarh a developed state.
