Chhattisgarh’s Health and Family Welfare Department and Indian Oil Corporation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under the Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Program

Indian Oil Corporation to provide 39 dialysis machines to the Health Department

Under the Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Program, Chhattisgarh’s Health and Family Welfare Department, Indian Oil Corporation, and Fairfax India Charitable Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on October 23. As per the agreement, Indian Oil Corporation will provide 39 dialysis machines to the Health Department within the next month, free of charge. Fairfax India Charitable Foundation will be responsible for maintaining these machines.

Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal stated that these new machines will significantly provide relief to patients in need of dialysis treatment. Shri Rituraj Raghuwanshi, Commissioner and Director of Health Services, signed the MoU on behalf of the Health Department. The Health Department plans to install the machines in newly formed districts and areas where the existing machines are outdated or where patient demand is high.

Health Minister Shri Jaiswal praised the MoU, highlighting its importance for improving healthcare services in the state. He added that the addition of these dialysis machines will enhance testing and treatment capabilities and, under Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s leadership, efforts to expand medical education and healthcare facilities in the state.
