Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the closing session of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Friday. He spoke openly with national media correspondents at the Bhopal Media Center in Bharat Mandapam on the future and use of artificial intelligence (AI). He stated that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has emphasized the need to fearlessly use AI for the benefit of the country. He stated that his government is overcoming all challenges and moving forward rapidly for the prosperity of the state. He stated that under Prime Minister Shri Modi’s leadership, the country is progressing rapidly, and Madhya Pradesh is playing a significant role in this. Madhya Pradesh is India’s fifth largest state. The state government is committed to using AI in the medical field, enabling timely diagnosis and diagnosis of diseases, and providing better facilities to remote areas.
- A whole new ecosystem of AI will be created in Madhya Pradesh
IT parks are being built in both major and minor cities across the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that a completely new AI ecosystem will be created in Madhya Pradesh. This robust ecosystem will have five key components: first, computer infrastructure—this will include shared GPUs and data centers. Second, talent development—this will include AI education in colleges and industry certification. Third, start-up support—this will provide funding, mentorship, and incubation. Fourth, industry use—this will encourage AI adoption. Fifth, research and innovation—this will encourage industry-related research centers and innovations. The Chief Minister stated that we will not only utilize AI, but also develop the capacity to create AI. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that Madhya Pradesh is located in the center of the country and has a substantial land bank. Therefore, efforts are underway to establish a large AI-based data center in the state. We have also invited major investors and companies to establish this data center.
- One-to-one dialogue with global tech companies
At the AI Summit, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav held one-on-one interactions with senior leaders from various leading global technology companies. Discussions with Ms. Calista Redmond, Vice President (Global AI Initiatives), NVIDIA, included establishing public-private partnerships, providing subsidized GPUs to startups, developing collaboration mechanisms to empower local partners, and providing technical tools, resources, and libraries. Discussions also included the LLM model, collaboration toward sovereign AI, and invitations to NVIDIA’s flagship program. NVIDIA is a US-based global technology company, a leader in GPUs, AI computing, data center solutions, and high-performance computing.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav held a one-to-one meeting with Mr. Breno Mello, Global GTM Head, Genspark AI, to discuss their role as a solution provider in the state, use of available technological solutions and launching of pilot programs as per the MoU.
In a one-on-one meeting with Dr. Pratyush Kumar, Co-Founder of Sarvam AI, we discussed developing full-stack sovereign AI models and building a strong ecosystem for startups and developers. Sarvam AI is a Bengaluru-based Indian AI startup that develops sovereign generative AI platforms and large language models for Indian languages.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed capacity building in universities and colleges, organizing game jams, upskilling in game development and AI, connectivity with Madhya Pradesh’s Atal Project, and setting up a studio in Indore with Ms. Shruti Verma of K-Gen AI, a Bengaluru-based AI-enabled gaming platform.
Discussed with Mr. Kunal Soni, Director, Google Play, support for gaming startups and students, AI skilling and training, upskilling, certification and curriculum development, gaming partnerships, and accelerator programs. Also discussed were hosting Google Play events in Indore and Bhopal, providing content export and publishing support, and potential collaborations for Ujjain Simhastha 2028. Google Play is a global digital app and game distribution platform.
Discussed immersive cooling technology with low water usage, up to 40% reduction in power consumption, and the development of sustainable AI data centers with Mr. Dev Tyagi, President, Submer Technologies (India). Submer Technologies is a Barcelona, Spain-based global data center technology company that develops liquid immersion cooling solutions.
Discussed with Mr. Kapil Jain, Founder and CEO of Invisid AI, the potential for developing physics-based AI solutions, upgrading and transforming data centers in Madhya Pradesh, digital twin simulation, energy consumption management, and increasing power generation by up to 8 MW in the state. Invisid AI is a US-based advanced physics-informed AI company that develops smart solutions for the engineering and industrial sectors.
- AOUs signed with various companies
In the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, three important strategic MoUs were exchanged to effectively implement the key pillars of the state’s AI mission through the Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation. These MoUs included agreements with Genspark AI Inc. to optimize AI infrastructure, develop creative AI-based governance solutions, and establish an innovation testing platform. A collaboration with Invisid AI will be established to deploy an AI-powered digital twin in the state data center. A partnership with Sarvam AI (Axonwise Pvt. Ltd.) has been established to build sovereign AI infrastructure and develop AI-enabled public services. Additionally, a letter of intent was issued to Submar Technologies S.L. to develop energy-efficient, liquid-cooled, and AI-ready data center infrastructure and to build up to one gigawatt of AI-optimized capacity in the future.
- Overview of Google Pavilion
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited the Google Pavilion. He held high-level discussions with Country Director Mr. Ashish Watal and the company’s senior leadership. The discussions focused on the potential for strengthening tourism innovation in Madhya Pradesh through map-based technologies, including AI, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR).
