Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the Lord Shri Pashupatinath Lok in Mandsaur on Thursday. The Lok was constructed in the first phase at a cost of approximately 25 crore rupees. On the occasion of the inauguration, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav first reached the Pashupatinath Temple and performed puja as per the rituals. He also visited a photo exhibition in the temple premises showcasing the temple’s past and present condition.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav worshipped Lord Pashupatinath seated in the form of a silver idol in a palanquin in the temple premises. The Chief Minister visited Pashupatinath Lok sitting in an e-cart and appreciated its grandeur. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav unveiled the 22 feet high Trinetra Rudrakani. The Rudraksha placed in the middle of it gives a divine impression of the three-eyed form of Lord Shiva. In the Yagyashala located in the Amphi Theatre premises, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav offered Purnahuti in the Yagya with chanting of mantras.
Pashupatinath Temple, a major center of faith in Mandsaur, has been enhanced with grandeur. Located near the flowing waters of the Shivna River, this temple has become even more attractive and captivating than before. Four entrances have been installed to ensure smooth movement for devotees.
For the convenience of devotees, an open-air theater has been constructed at Pashupatinath Lok, where cultural and theatrical programs can be held. A waiting room has been provided to ensure large numbers of devotees are not inconvenienced. A first-aid room has also been set up for emergencies. The temple complex features attractive murals depicting Shiva’s pastimes and paintings depicting the history of the Pashupatinath Mahadev idol, providing a spiritual experience for devotees.

Satsang Bhawan, garden, Shiva pillar, mural wall, selfie point and well-organized pathway have been constructed in Shri Pashupatinath Lok, due to which the entire complex has developed into a pilgrimage city.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Jagdish Devda, regional MP Shri Sudhir Gupta, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Banshilal Gurjar, District Panchayat President Smt. Durga Vijay Patidar, Mandsaur MLA Shri Vipin Jain, Suwasra MLA Shri Hardeep Singh Dang, Garoth MLA Shri Chander Singh Sisodiya, District Planning Committee member Shri Rajesh Dixit, former MLA Shri Yashpal Singh Sisodiya, Tourism Secretary Shri Dilip Kumar Yadav, Collector Smt. Aditi Garg and Superintendent of Police Shri Vinod Kumar Meena along with officials and a large number of devotees were present in the inauguration program.
