Chief Minister offered a 108-meter-long red ‘chunri’ to Goddess Angarmoti, seeking blessings for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the state
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai visited the Maa Angarmoti Dai Temple in Dhamtari district on October 5 to offer prayer. During the visit, the Chief Minister offered a 108-meter-long red ‘chunri’ to Goddess Angarmoti, seeking blessings for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the state. A large gathering of devotees joined him in worship at the temple. Shri Sai remarked on the deep faith that people have in Maa Angarmoti Dai, noting that devotees visit her ‘darbar’ with devotion and wishes. He also highlighted that Maa Angarmoti Dai is the primary deity of the tribal community and is revered for fulfilling the vows of her devotees.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also visited and offered prayers at the temples of Mankeshri Mata, Budha Dev, and Bhangaram Baba located within the temple premises. Cabinet Ministers Shri Kedar Kashyap and Shri Tankram Verma, Kanker MP Shri Bhojraj Nag, Mahasamund MP Smt. Rupkumari Choudhary, Kurud MLA Shri Ajay Chandrakar, and Kanker MLA Shri Asharam Netam, along with local public representatives, were present during the visit.
