Dr. Varnika Sharma, Chairperson of the State Child Rights Protection Commission, inspected the PG Umathe Swami Atmanand School located in Raipur. During the inspection, Dr. Sharma expressed concern over the deficiencies related to cleanliness and safety in the school premises and directed for necessary improvements. From the point of view of protecting child interests, the Commission has asked the school principal and the District Education Officer to submit a report on the situation by July 22, so that a favorable and safe environment can be ensured for the children.
Dr. Sharma has called for transforming school premises into a beautiful and positive environment by stressing on creating a clean, safe and inspiring environment in all government schools. The Commission has also clarified that all necessary steps will be taken to protect the rights of children so that their overall development can be ensured without any hindrance.
