Discussion held on possibilities of boosting trade and investment
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was called on by British Deputy High Commissioner Shri Harjinder Kang at the CM’s residence and discussed about boosting exports from Madhya Pradesh to Britain and investment in the state. It is noteworthy that Madhya Pradesh is an important exporter of processed food items and agricultural products to Britain. Clothing and ready-made garments, pharmaceuticals and plastic products and packaging material are also exported from Madhya Pradesh. In the discussion, there was deliberation on increasing exports and possibilities of investment in the field of IT, food processing, apparel, automobile, health, renewable energy and tourism in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also invited British Deputy High Commissioner Shri Kang to participate in the Invest Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit to be held on 7-8 February 2025 in Bhopal.
