Dead Dilbandhu appeared Alive: exposed lies by ST commission Chairman and his so called investigation

A recent attempt to discredit the development of the Parsa coal mine in Chhattisgarh has been exposed as a false and malicious campaign. Scheduled Tribe Commission Chairman Bhanupratap Singh, a Congress worker, had claimed that a deceased individual, Dilbandhu Majhwar, had signed a proposal related to the mine’s village council meeting.

However, investigations by state authorities and responsible media have confirmed that Dilbandhu Majhwar is alive and well. On Monday, he appeared at the Udaipur Tehsil Office to verify his identity and the authenticity of his signature on the proposal.

This incident highlights a broader pattern of misinformation being spread to undermine the mining sector in Chhattisgarh. Certain elements, particularly from Raipur, have been actively disseminating false claims on social media, alleging that the village council meeting was fraudulent. Despite previous investigations by the same commission dismissing similar accusations, these individuals persist in their efforts to derail the project.

Dilbandhu Majhwar himself has spoken out against the false death rumor, expressing his distress and frustration. He has provided proof of his existence, including his Aadhaar card and a notarized document from his village panchayat secretary.

The village panchayat secretary, Gopal Ram Yadav, has also confirmed that Dilbandhu was present at the village council meeting and signed the attendance register. He has prepared a notarized document to substantiate Dilbandhu’s existence and will submit it to the court.

With all necessary legal approvals in place, the Rajasthan government’s power corporation is poised to operationalize the Parsa mine, creating thousands of jobs for the local tribal population. The exposure of this malicious campaign raises questions about the motives behind such actions and the potential legal consequences for those involved in spreading false information.
