- Digital Kisan Kitab distributed to 59 farmers in Jamgaon
As part of a significant initiative by the state government, digital Kisan Kitabs are being made available to farmers in Kondagaon district. Recently, at a camp organized by the district administration in Jamgaon village, the Revenue Department distributed digital Kisan Kitabs to 59 farmers.
It is noteworthy that this significant initiative by the Chhattisgarh government aims to promote digital governance. The digital Kisan Kitab will replace the traditional manual Kisan Kitab, providing farmers and landholders with modern, simple, and prompt services. Through this system, farmers will be able to access their land-related information online, anytime, from anywhere. This facility is available on the Bhuiya portal, from which farmers can easily view and download information.
Essential details will be automatically updated in the digital system, eliminating the need to visit offices for information corrections. Furthermore, the availability of a digitally signed, certified copy by the Patwari will ensure the validity and transparency of documents. The online and real-time availability of loan book information will facilitate farmers in availing bank loans, crop loans, and various government schemes.
