Governor Shri Patel administers oath to Chief Justice

Justice Shri Kait becomes the 28th Chief Justice of the state

Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel administered the oath of 28th Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court to Justice Shri Suresh Kumar Kait. The swearing-in ceremony was organised in the Sandipani Auditorium of Raj Bhavan. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was also present on this occasion.

Governor Shri Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav greeted and wished the newly appointed Chief Justice by presenting a bouquet of flowers after the swearing-in.

The oath-taking ceremony programme was conducted by Chief Secretary Smt. Veera Rana. She read out the notification issued by President Smt. Droupadi Murmu appointing Justice Shri Suresh Kumar Kait of Delhi High Court as Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court.

Sports and Youth Welfare and Cooperation Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang, Minister of State for Public Health and Medical Education Shri Narendra Shivaji Patel, Khajuraho MP and State President Shri VD Sharma, Director General of Police Shri Sudhir Kumar Saxena, Additional Chief Secretary General Administration Shri Sanjay Dubey, Principal Secretary to Governor Shri Mukesh Chand Gupta, Registrar General Jabalpur High Court Shri Manoj Shrivastava, Judges of Madhya Pradesh and Delhi High Courts, Judges of District Court, Bar members, officers of various commissions, public representatives, senior officers of Legislative Affairs Department and other departments were present.
