- Tribute paid by observing silence on Martyrs’ Day
Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel paid homage to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, on his death anniversary on Friday by offering floral tributes to his portrait. He observed two minutes of silence to commemorate the martyrs. Lokayukta Justice Shri Satendra Kumar Singh also paid floral tribute to the Father of the Nation. Dr. Navneet Mohan Kothari, Principal Secretary to the Governor, was also present at the event.
On the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, Additional Secretary to the Governor, Shri Umashankar Bhargava, along with other officers and employees of Lok Bhavan, paid floral tributes and observed silence on the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi and paid heartfelt tribute to the martyrs.
