A team from IIIT Naya Raipur has secured first prize in the ‘Technovate for India Ideathon’,
held at The Hotel Hyatt Raipur on 21 February 2025.The competition focused on developing
technology driven solutions for the workforce of Chhattisgarh and saw participation from around
15 colleges.
The given project statement was to design a technology-driven skill development solution for
Chhattisgarh’s workforce, focusing on boosting local employment. The solution needed to be
scalable, inclusive, and capable of enhancing both the quantity and quality of skilled
professionals.
The winning project, GyaanMarg AI, was developed by B.Tech 2nd year CSE students Pranjal
Pathak, Paridhi Sharma, and Anwita Chakraborty, under the guidance of Dr. Kavita Jaiswal,
Assistant Professor. Their solution, GyaanMarg AI, is an AI-powered career and skill
development platform designed to bridge the gap between talent and opportunities. By
leveraging artificial intelligence, the platform aims to enhance skill training, provide career
guidance, and connect job seekers with suitable employment opportunities, making it a
transformative solution for Chhattisgarh’s workforce. Their outstanding innovation and
dedication earned them a cash prize of ₹50,000.
This achievement highlights IIIT Naya Raipur’s commitment to fostering innovation and
technological advancement in solving real-world challenges.
