Inaugural Session of Cyber Commando Training Programme at IIIT Naya Raipur

2024: The inaugural session of the Cyber Commando
Training Programme was held today at the Indian Institute of Information Technology
(IIIT) Naya Raipur. Organized under the joint aegis of the Ministry of Home Affairs,
New Delhi, and the Government of Chhattisgarh, the programme aims to equip
police officers with advanced skills to combat cybercrimes.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Pradeep Guptha, ADGP Chhattisgarh,
who served as the chief guest. Mrs. Neha Champawath, Secretary, Home Affairs,
and Shri Mayank Ghildiyal, Deputy Director, MHA/I4C, were also present as guests
of honor.
The training programme, scheduled from 11 AM to 12 PM on September 30, 2024,
will provide police officers with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in
areas such as digital forensics, cybercrime investigation techniques, and emerging
cyber threats. The initiative is a significant step towards strengthening the nation’s
capabilities in addressing the growing challenges posed by cybercrime.
