Krishak Unnati Yojana has become a new path for the prosperity of farmers

Farmer Shri Ganga Ram received a lump sum amount from the scheme Big change in life and farming

Farmers are called the soul of India and the backbone of the economy. When their fields flourish, the prosperity of the country is at its peak. Recognizing this strength of the farmers, the Government of Chhattisgarh is continuously working for their progress and empowerment. The Krishak Unnati Yojana implemented under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai is not only changing the lives of farmers, but is also giving respect and right value to their hard work. Shri Gangaram Patel, a farmer of Motiari village in Kawardha district, is one of the beneficiaries of this scheme. He told that the bonus of Rs 1 lakh received under the scheme helped him complete his pending work. With this amount, he completed his incomplete house, which is now ready. With this, his worry of educating his children in a good school also ended.

Mr. Gangaram says that he has 7 acres of land, out of which he cultivates paddy in 5 acres. Last year he sold 118 quintals of paddy, for which he received the support price immediately in his account. He was able to use the one lakh rupees lump sum amount under the Krishak Unnati Yojana. He said that farming has now become profitable as the state government has fixed the support price of paddy at Rs. 3100 per quintal. Apart from this, better facilities at paddy procurement centers and simplicity of token process have saved the time and effort of farmers.

Mr. Gangaram said that he is using the money received from Krishak Unnati Yojana to buy modern equipment for farming and increase production. He thanked Chief Minister Mr. Vishnudev Sai and the state government for the steps taken in the interest of farmers. These efforts of the Chhattisgarh government prove that when schemes and policies are in the right direction, the progress and prosperity of farmers is ensured.
